A deck of playing cards was created mostly emphasizing a certain theme.  Because I am an avid sports fan, I centered my playing cards on the National Basketball Association.  However, I did not use an official NBA team logo.  Instead, I recreated the NBA logo by illustrating the mascots in my own style.  Each of the mascots will represent a face card.  For the jokers, I made a reference to the comedic Harlem Globetrotters by implementing the American Basketball Association basketballs.  All mascot artwork were drawn on paper first and colored in Adobe Photoshop.  The four suits used to produce the 10 card and aces were constructed using Adobe Illustrator.  In addition, the basketball court design, representing the back of the playing cards, is a vector drawing.
